The Habu Project: The 1995 Fire Hawk # 584.
My love for this bird began in up-state New York. My high school shop teacher Mr.P drove a '97 Firehawk and like most high school teens, I drooled over the site and sound as Mr.P roared in to the parking lot. Mr.P's hawk was the very first F-body I ever drove and I fell in love with the Hawk the first moment I hit the drivers seat. I am the proud 3rd owner of the 584th Firehawk out of 671 built in 1995. I purchased the hawk in Minot North Dakota where I was stationed in early 2003. After speaking with Garth at Las Vagas Invasion 2007 The Habu Project was born. The car was dropped of to Leading Edge Performance to be transformed into a killer bird of pray. With a monster LEP 385cu.in stroked LT1 sitting under the hood & fed by an LEP/STS rear mounted intercooled T67 turbo this rare bird is a proud member of the 500+HP Club! I've always dreamed of having a little firebird more powerful then some expensive exotics such as the Porsche 911 Turbo and Ferrari F430, A HUGE THANK YOU TO LEADING EDGE PERFORMANCE STAFF & GARTH FOR MAKING THAT DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!!!
More power to come.....The Habu Project, it's just getting started...........

There are so many '95 Hawks on this site it seems, lol. My brother has a '95 Hawk too (#011) i'll get him on here, although he doesn't know too much about cars.

put some longtubes on that and i'll bet you picks up a good chunk especially with only having stock manifolds on it

I don't think that would be possible with the turbo setup, he would need some custom fab'd "long tubes". Stock manifolds work better for turbo applications in general.

with rear mounts, longtubes are possible, just the pipes after the headers have to be fabbed for the pipes to the turbos.

Believe me I'm not that much of a noob to turbos, but you're thinking a front mounted turbo setup, not an STS
