Arrrrggg!! I was ready to kick her to the curve! Pour battery acid on her face! Knock her into 2012!! Who am I talking about? WIFEY that's who! SHE DID THE MOST UNPARDINABLE SIN TO A CAR GUY!! Did she use what little we have left in the bank to buy some shoes? No. Did she have an affair? No. I'd understand if she did cause I want to hit soemthing else too. Ha! Did she wreck the Camaro? Pfft! Please, she's not even allowed to touch it let alone drive it. What did she do you ask!? She.........she..........she (voice trembling).........she loaned out my 3 ton jack to our next door neibhor (sp?) without asking me that's what she did!! Arrg I was so pissed!! I may not have an extensive array of tools or the best tools money can buy but my tools are just that.....MINE!! I don't care what they say about marriage my tools and my car are mine. Should our relationship go south, and I hope it doesn't, that's all I'm going to have. I came in the house pissed and she had that look of oh sh*t on her face. You know what look I'm talking about? Example= your doing the deed with some hottie and accidentally call her by your ex girlfriends name!? Yea, that look! Till death do us part almost happened! Now the ladies are prolly thinking "so she loaned your tool to help your neibhor. (gotta learn how to spell this word!) whats the big deal?" It's a guy things ladies. I'll give you an example so you can understand how we feel. Say you have your favorite dress. You love this dress like no other and then without asking your friend (preferably a girl) borrows your dress to go out on a date and you see her in that dress. YES!! YOU SEE? Feel that rage!? Now you understand how guys are with their tools. I just walked pass her went into my room to sulk like a 5 year old who dropped his ice cream in the dirt. Ok this was sort of a rant but I'm sure most of you guys understand.

I'm not a fan of lending my tools to others, either.

Did she have an affair? No. I'd understand if she did cause I want to hit something else too. Ha!
This part is hilarious lmao.
Is the neighbor also a friend or just a neighbor?

yea get over it. especially if your on good terms with your neighbor. shit one day you just might need something that you either cant find, dont have the money for or just not the time to go find and your neighbor will have it.

i understand where your coming from, but man just make the best of it. talk to the guy/gal who borrowed it and tell them that you would prefer not to borrow things unless you know about them.
i understand the, my tools are my tools and thats that. a man's tools are like womens jewelry for us. so to speak.
glad you rant here and not kill somone. lol

As long as people return my stuff in the same condition as they got it, I dont really care as long as they ask. If they dont take care of it, I dont let them borrow anything else. :hmm:

Thankfully all my stuff is locked up in my shop when I leave so, dont have to worry about em' anymore (Unless someone decides to crash a truck through the gate, and then crash through my door to steal em').
When my stuff was in my house/garage, I ran into this on a regular basis. Ive had to explain to many a person in my house that tools do not get loaned out. I will gladly go to your house with them, watch you use them (maybe help a bit), and then bring them home with me. Shits too expensive to even put in a situation where it could be lost/stolen.

Should our relationship go south, and I hope it doesn't, that's all I'm going to have. .
These seem contradictory.
It really doesn't seem like a big enough deal to pitch a huge fit about. Explain to her and your neighbor how you'd like to be asked first. Done deal.
