Hate to act like a newb but I'm really curious.. What do you guys think I'll put down on the dyno with my current mods..

Stock block/rods/crank/ect..
Cam: is a comp 236/242 @.05 and .555/.576 (with my rockers)
Comp 918's
Comp pro mag 1.6 Self aligning
Comp hardened 7.2" push rods
LS7 lifters
SLP Midlength to a flowmaster 2.75" back.
Throttle body by pass
B&M short throw
36# injectors
Street tuned

And stock, unported heads. :(

This is in my 95 M6 Z28.. Thanks guys..

I know the pretty big cam is being killed by stock heads. I've just about got enough saved up to go ahead and purchase some LE2's..

That catback is killing you.. flowmaster catbacks are trash on 4th gens

Yeah, I'd like to change that out.. It came on the car when I bought it though.

can always just put a cutout on it and open it when it is needed.

I'd say with ported heads and that cam and supporting stuff you can be near or at 400whp

But it's just like my 306... great cam but gets choked down by the stock heads

.. well here it is...

Made 271RWHP and 293RWTQ..

Turns out that when I got the car tuned, the exhaust leak was bad enough to make the readings come out funny so we tuned it to 12.1-12.4 WOT on bummed out O2's and plugs that were dying out. Now with the new plugs and exhaust leaks fixed, the O2 sensors (new) Are reading the correct readings and the tune is waaaaayyyyy off. As soon as the guy pressed the gas peddle the A/F ratio went crazy. The scale doesn't read below 10.0 and it went down to that and held there through out 6100RPM's. He said there is probly a good 30-40WHP to be made there in just correcting the tune. Which would put me at what my goal was for just a Cam only swap.

I'm meeting up with my tuner this week on what ever day I can get to a dyno and have some time to get a dyno tune done instead of just a street tune.

I do like my torque curve to be honest though..

If you're running that rich, yes, there is power to be picked up. I think after it's all said and done, you'll see probably 330-350 RWHP/RWTQ. That cam is just too much on stock heads with that close duration split. I wouldn't go bigger than an 847 or 306 on stock heads. Above that and you're just working to move turbulent air.

Yeah I know the cam is way over kill, but I picked it up for 55 bucks and an hours worth of helping a friend work on his chevelle.

Heads are in the works within the next few weeks here.

Hell, for $55 I'd have put it in my car too! Nice pickup for sure.

That's what I said! He had it in his Trans-am for 15 minutes on the dyno and decided it wasn't big enough for him..

He said with ported heads. A good set of heads and that cam would do 400.

I guess in Fl this is different. We have not one heads and cam LT1 car making 400 at the wheels? I'm interested , show me some and I'd like to get more knowledge on what they are doing.

We never posted the final dyno numbers after formato tuned it, but it put down 412/367. Theres a couple more H/C LT1s in fl making over 400.

I'm still curious to see how much the cutout helped. I'm thinking 420/375.

But screw the dyno numbers, we need to finish the rear and suspension and get it to the track!
