Anybody know what all i need for the conversion? I plan on doing a full auto 4l80 so i know i'll need the harness and contoller, but while i was looking at the tci website i saw taht they have all these other tps, distributor, and other harness adapters. I need to know if i need all of these as well or just the controller and the harness.

Yes, you will need to tap into the TPS, tech, speed sensor, etc...If your just swapping to an auto just go with a 60.

There was a guy on cz28.com that that did this swap years ago and has a good wright up. It WILL require the BFH mod to the tranny tunnel

Between the mods to the tranny tunnel and the TCI wiring and then programming a 80 just isn't worth the hassle when you have someone like FLT out there building 60's that can handle many 9 second cars power...Save the money on the other stuff and put it into a good trans

yeah now that im really looking into it im finding the '60 might just be better for me. and btw tci's tech support is a joke, this guy was just some hick that was telling me about all these people he knows with the "6x" tranny they have and how one guy is useing a plastic video game steering wheel to manually shift the tranny since it has all the extra buttons:jest:
