hey, i just bought some 3.73s from a friend and how do you tell if it is a 3.73?? will there be 73 gears on the ring??

if i remember correctly you divide ring gear by pinion..im not sure how many teeth there are but if you had 15 on pinion and 65 on ring it would be 65 divided by 15 which is 4.33 ratio...hope that helps and please someone correct me if im wrong..its been a while:doh:
