I just pulled my old rear end and built a new one from a 2001 ss camaro housing with the zexel torsion diff. I added moser axels and 4:10 gears. Is there a way to adjust the speedo due to the gear change. I talked with someone local and told them what my set up is. they want over a hundred bucks to recallibrate it. they said they would also do the torque managemant. I know better than that I have an M6 and there is no torque management. I think i'm being ripped off. My car is just boltons so i do not need heavy tuning. I just want the speedo adjusted. Any suggestions?

I'd just send out for a mail order tune.

PCMforLess $175 for first tune, $50 for update tune (when/if you do headers, cam, etc.)
MadZ28 His prices vary quite a bit, but range from $75 to $150 for the first tune.

The speedometer change is simple. Where are you located in IL and what year is your car?

Price seems pretty average.

So its worth the $ for a full tune even if my car is all bolt ons?

i am full bolt ons and i gained a fair amount from a good tune. I DIY Tune now, and was able to tweak out a few more hp with some timing and Fuel table adjustmentx. You need to tune out EGR and AIR if you go to emission less headers and tune out Knock for Longtubes. Tweak Timing and Fuel for intake work, etc...
IMHO it is worth it.
