Weird noise in reverse

This is in an A4 car, when I am sitting still in reverse I hear a weird noise, almost sounds like when you have a lose rocker or something. Kinda a clacking noise. It doesnt do it in any other gear, and the transmission doesnt slip or act up in any other way. Any ideas?

Does it happen while reversing? Does it do it while the car is in reverse, with your foot on the brake? or both?

When I am sitting still with the brake pedal pushed in. When I start moving it stops.
I can only hear it with the door closed and the windows up, it not loud at all. I thought it was exhaust rattling but i dont think it is after looking at it.

my 96 a4 formula did the samething never did figure it out, the trans was under warrenty and my buddy at a trans shop rebuilt it cuz it lost all gears but 1st and 2nd and it still did it after that. i hate little things like that they drive me nuts, good luck figuring it out
