Welcome to the site AJ. I knew this site was a perfect match for you, as you have a unique setup and Gobbs of power under that hood.

which tranny you looking at? how hard would it be to drop in a TH400 or TH350? You could then use your favorite shifter. ;)

tell ya guys the truth I done really know about turbos and all that. I am a fab kind of guy. I did all the fab work on the car. my friend who knows tons of stuff and had been building turbo cars for years is the brains and is the one that got the parts and tuned and all of that stuff. I'm asking him for all the info in the stuff he helped me with.

Dave thanks for telling me about this site. I had a TH400 built for it, but it didnt hold up to the power very well. we just finished swapping it out and put a 5 speed in it. And yes I want hurst shifter for the camaro to match up with the one I have in the Grand am.

wait, the TH400 didnt hold up? my buddy with the grand national was putting about the same as you to the ground and his th400 held up fine. i wonder what the difference was.

what 5 speed? what about a built T56? i know that the viper spec ones can take some power.

the Th400 was fine at 10psi,but when we went to 40 psi the HP was up around the 1400 mark then the tranny went.

I knew what you meant by the wastegate spring...

I'm assuming this is a bullet proof motor because 40psi is absolutely insane
