OK so its been a while since i put this in but figured I throw this out there to help some guys out of you thinking about putting a rear in your car, first off I bought a moser housing/axle package from them, I also bought the N series center 35 spline spool and HD Alu pinion support from them, I had them weld on a rear support brace to that most people dont know they will install for an extra 100 bucks if you ask, its not a normal option on the order but they will do it, I got my richmond 3:70 gears and bearings from my friends shop where he set the gears up, I heard to many people complan about moser gear whine so I didnt want to deal with that and over all you can build it for the same price.I also had them make it 4 inch's shorter ove all so I can run 15x10 wheels with 5 inch back spacing

pic how it came from moser

I welded on a set of sway bar mounts before painting, I couldnt use exhust clamps with the rear brace on there

I did run into a problem with the relocation brackets and the narrowed rear the brakes wouldnt clear them so I had to cut some of the brackets out and weld pieces in there.

Nice! If you would like to add all the little details about what you ran into/how you got around it/time invested/maybe even a step by step guide on what you did.... I could add it to the LTxTech Install Guides section (with your permission of course, and with your name on it also). I think the Install section should be around soon...

Feel free to go crazy with it, the longer and more detailed the better :D

The back brace is well worth the money if your about to order a rear don't skip it. I sold the Moser 9" that I put in the car last year and the current owner found a leak shortly after installing it. The weld had broken where the axle tube was welded. The fastest 60' I had pulled with that rear was only a 1.48 so was it a bad weld or a spool on the street that caused it to break? Not that it matters just hoping it makes some of you realize the brace could save you from problems down the road.

I like the look of the wheel a lot, but something is throwing me off.

26" tire and stock ride height?

drop the ass down on the tire or a larger tire and it would look sick witht he tires tucked.

Im not dropping my car with the roads around here with my exhust Id rip it right off if I was lowered, and I have the gearing set up for 26 inch tires so thats the way its staying.

I hope you do not feel as if I was putting the setup down...I do like the wheel setup you where able to run. The car looks to be setup pretty nicely.

That looks good, I've got a similar setup narrowed 2in each side. I would like to switch over to a 15x10. It's tough to tell from the angle but are you running Centerline Telstars? If so, then that's the wheel that I will be putting on and I'm happy to see that it looks that good. I'm running Telstars right now but the rears are 15x8.....and um yes, that's a 325 on a 15x8.

nevermind, found you post in the "wheels" thread where you said that they are Telstars. Can't wait to switch out my rears for 15x10. Love those lips...and the hood too!!!
