4l60e differences

I have scoured the internet, but cannot find my answer.... i understand all the year differences, however i need a car difference.. reason i am asking is pricinf on rebuilt trans locally is 200 different between 94 camaro and 94 formula... what am i missing ??? Both prices are for the lt1, so v6 cant be the answer... any help greatly appreciated
