Guys, there's a lot of smart people on this forum and I appreciate your input. I have a 97 Z28 that I have decided to sell but before I do, it needs a new higher stall converter. The car is stock weight, T-tops and factory rear gear. The engine was rebuilt before I bought the car and the engine has a Comp Cams #467 so, because I intend to sell it, obviously, I would like to do this right but with minimal expense. I've been eyeing the 2800-3200 with lock up converter from Monster. Has anyone had any experience with this converter or similar setup, etc?

I have not had any experience with monster. I will recommend contacting Cahall performance transmission and speak with Gail.

More often than not, you get what you pay for.

Circle D, FTI, Yank, PTC etc are good brands

Sent from my VS996 using TapatalkYour right. Frank did an awesome job on my 94 Z28 and I will definitely use CPT again but only if I was going to keep this 97. I'm not in a position to put $2000+ more in this car's trans/converter to maybe get $3500 for it.
