Looking to use methonal injection on a street car with 12 ponds of boost running 91 octane and 104 octane if need . running a solid roller cam 648 int and 646 ext at 110. Would the use of Methonal when using 91 octane brine the same performance as the Senoco 104?

Depends how much meth you are spraying, but if you use a decent amount of nozzle and pressure you’ll be able to run the same timing as you do on the 104 plus pick up an additional 15hp or so from cooling.

Have other folks with similar engine builds used Methanol? Did they even have to?
A large enough front mount intercooler with good flow can negate the need for methanol at all. I'm at 15# boost with healthy charge temps and no methanol, making good power.
To me, going sans methanol just reduces cost and complexity, and you aren't tied down to another fluid you have to fill...

That’s the kit I’ve had on my car for 10 years, no complaints. It’s kept the stock bottom end alive for that long!

Yup, 93 octane here and 15psi. No meth needed for the IAT/timing I run.
I will mix in some 100 octane on the rare occasions I race it, but thats more a mental safety blanket.

Thank you for all the knowledge that you have shared. I have heard horror stories about detonation and wiping out the ring weigh-ins I don't know if it'll make a difference that I'm at 6500 feet in elevation and the air is thin.
Greatly appreciate you guys sharing your knowledge thank you very much.
