Sent from my HP Pro Slate 8 using TapatalkI think it's a fuel problem. If u really get into the peddle it straightens out. It's not like a plug wire electric problem.it idols good also

Did you actually scan it for codes, or are you basing “no codes” on lack of an SES light?

Fuel issue would (should) get worse with more engine load not clear up.
90% of the time a missfire in an Lt1 ends up being the opti... for me anyways But I keep fresh wires and plugs on my stuff.
Is it poping/backfiring or just going dead on a cylinder?

Sounds like what mine was doing with my first opti...ran good under load but hesitated and stumbled off throttle. Went LTCC..all my little quirks I was having vanished.

Are you saying the engine is now “dead”...... like it doesn’t run at all?

No just going dead ON A cylinder,I was having PCM trouble. So I sent off another PCM to b tuned by Solomon too replace the bad one. I put the one I got back on it. It started to miss. So I thought it was the PCM.it wasn't it still missed with the old one. So I swapped them back. It doesn't matter witch one it still misses

another one bites the dust.
optis are a crap shot... Ive had $60 ebay ones last 2 years and ive had them be bad out of the box.
Same goes for the higher dollar ones.
Right now Im using a summit brand and it has been perfect for a year and a half

Sac City Corvette appears to resell the AIP (All Ignition Products) Opti's for $60 more than AIP sells them for. Previous AIP Opti's were a disaster. Not sure if they have improved them any.
Another possibility is the “Petris”. It was discussed in this thread. I don’t think F.G. bought one though.
