I would like to find something myself. I know people used to recommend Autotap but they are no longer in business. On other forums I've seen people say HPTuners VCM scanner works but according to their website OBD2 LT1 cars are not on the supported vehicles list. I have never called them to find out. Their scanner is more expensive than doing an OBD1 conversion and getting the software to datalog and tune it so I figure I will go that way some day.

Thanks. It's not expensive either. I wonder if it will log the long term fuel trim?

I've looked into it quite a few times, and it seems like ScanXL Pro with their optional GM enhanced PID's may be the way to go. It's a little pricey though, but there's not much out there for us poor OBD2 guys.

I just found this. I haven't tried it yet but I've seen injuneer say he likes this guy's 9495 datalogger and this is the same author. Might be worth a shot. Anyone else ever try it?

Scan9495 doesn't work for OBD2, unfortunately. And he has no plans to implement support AFAIK.

GaryDoug does have an OBD-2 scan software. Don't know if it can log.

My OBD2 scan app, GDScan, does support datalogging, but there is no graphing in the app. You could load the log file into Excel (not free) or Apache Open Office Calc (free) to view graphs. GDScan was specifically developed for the 96-2002 F-cars. This is NOT the same as my OBD1 app Scan9495.

Guy on another site just asked me to look at his OBD-2 data log. I asked him what he was using, and he indicated:

http://www.obd-2.com

It's really old stuff, but it produced a decent log. I forgot all about this one, and auterra. When I had my website many years ago, I had a list of OBD-1 and OBD-2 scanning/data logging systems, and both obd-2.com and auterra were on the list, along with the departed AutoTap (I still have AutoTap software and cable somewhere).
