Alright, be gentle, this is my first time selling a rolling fourth gen, so bear with me.

This is probably one of the nicest LT1 cars you'll find, at least I'd like to think so.

The car itself is a '96 Trans Am. Body shows 165,XXX miles. CLEAN CARFAX!!!!! Three owner car (it's actually still in my friend's name, clean title, signed, notarized, ready to go. He will be on site during the sale).

Body:
Repainted in '06
Fiberglass WS6 hood, fits PERFECTLY
De-mold/emblems
Polished rear panel
Black Pontiac fill ins
No spidering/cracking of any kind on the bumpers.
One sideskirt has a 6" crack/scrape, but you REALLY need to be looking for it.
ALL NEW AC COMPONENTS. EVERYTHING has been replaced, and I mean every single part! I have pictures to document all of this work.
SLP line lock
SLP fan switch
Newer clutch master.
Rearend rebuiilt from brake to brake.

Suspension:
3 point subframe connectors
BIG sway bars/poly bushings/endlinks
Driveshaft loop
Multiple new bushings throughout the car
Newer KYB struts
New steering rack (previous owner complained of slack
'02 WS6 wheels. 7/10 condition, 2/32 tread on all tires.

Interior:
9/10 condition. Seats/carpet/dash/trim show no wear. Unmolested save for the shift light.

Basically, the entire car has been gone through. This is not your average half beat high mileage car. Crucial wear items have been replaced, and the car drives better than it did in '96.

As for the price, I'm going to say $2500, because that seems fair to me.

For additional cost, I do have a TON of LT1 stuff, low compression 383, Vortech V2 w/aftercooler, Rockland race ready T56, Spec3, Mac mid's, MBRP catback, etc.

On to the pictures......

Thanks!

The car really is as nice in person as it is in the pictures. Someone can definitely buy with confidence, here!

Hrmmmmmmmmmmmm So the tranny come with or it "missing the tranny and motor"?
Only thing that kills me is it being red! I am not a big fan of it. Beautiful car tho for sure. Damnit Why most I pull up more rollers when I got enough.. hrmm:frustrated:

Damn, taking any kind of trades on this? That thing is a beauty. I'd love to pick it up and make it an ltx tech project car.

Depends on what you have to trade!

The car is no trans/motor! Roller only! I do have ALMOST everything to make it a complete car, and one NASTY car at that.

As far as the stock (lower mileage) motor, I'm not sure how bad it was hurt, as I'm still tearing it down. At this point, I'm going to point my finger at a blown headgasket. But no guarantees.

Really, if the shit hits the fan and the entire stock longblock is junk, You'll need a top end. Everything else is there.

I have:
Entire stock longblock (possible blown headgasket, maybe more)
Stock intake (complete with or without injectors, pending if you want the blower)
New Opti <100 miles.
Meziere EWP.
All sensors.
Mac coated mid's and catted Y
MBRP Corsa clone catback

I'd Sell the car and everything I've got for it, including the blower, for $8500. Basically, you're buying what I have posted for sale, and I'm throwing in the stock longblock/EWP/full exhaust for free.

Pardon if I ask (feel free to PM me if deemed necessary) but why are you parting it out? Did you blow the headgasket (or so you think at the moment) then pull the motor and decide to part it out or did you buy it as a project and lose interest/$/time, etc?

did you buy it as a project and lose interest

Bingo.

I put it up for sale as a project when I first traded my GN for it, completely forgot I posted it somewhere, and was contacted about it a few weeks ago, which kinda sparked my interest. Parting it out seemed like the best way to get the most money out of the high dollar parts on the car, and giving someone a shot at a NICE roller, but I wouldn't mind moving it all at once.

That, and I'd REALLY like to start a taildragger/lead sled/traditional rod/gasser project, and this car kinda puts a damper on doing that.

What kinda lead sled you thinking of or even a taildragger?

If this goes soon, I may work in some of the extras I have for the car!

And sorry, that doesn't mean the blower, shortblock, or trans. Haha.

I can also help with transport (within reasonable distance) in a nice, comfy enclosed trailer for a fee too.
