I haven't posted on here in awhile due to putting my LT1 project on hold for the past two years but within the next week or so, I should finally have it on the road but I still need to get the setup of what I want dialed in.

I'm just wondering what you guys think would be the best gears for my setup? And what rear tire size I should run with them to get the most out of the gears? I'll be going with a set of 15" drag wheels at some point. This will be a 1/8th track only car as there are no 1/4 tracks around me so I was originally thinking 3.73s but I'm curious if 4.10s or even 4.30s would be beneficial for me?

I'm really just super excited to talk about the car again and looking for an excuse to do so to jump back into the LT1 world lol any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mods are 355ci 11.5:1cr, ported heads, Lloyd Elliot 232/240 cam, FTI 3800 stall, longtubes, electric waterpump, 1.6rr, etc etc

I would look into 4.30, 4.56, or into the 5.13

I'm a quarter mile guy running 3.73 I'm running out the back at 5700 in third gear. I would think with 1/8th mile you will need alot more gear.

Do you know wear your engine plateaus in power and torque?

Hear is a website that may help you calculate your need gear for desired outcome.

Cahall , i think that anything more than 410 with that much stall would be a waste imho
