Im looking at the thought of possibly getting rid of my t56 for a th350/400. Just wondering what my t56 setup is worth? Car has 74,000 miles. Has a newer spec 3+ clutch.( 550 miles at most) and will come with the slave, master, short throw shifter, and crossmember. Has no problems at all. What do you think a fair asking price would be?

1500 for the trans alone in mint shape and maybe 1800-2k including all swap parts. 1500 for it all should be bottom dollar.

Wow, I was off on the the price, I need to buy the six speed cars around hear and sell the conversion and pay for th car and do the conversion to auto and sell the car complete.

Wat, I picked up a 86k T56 with bellhousing for $800 only a few years ago. I see the trans alone being about $1k now. I second $1500 for it all.

If you're selling everything as a swap, I'd ask $2200 for everything to start. That's a GOOD clutch and it's essentially brand new still, LOTS of life there. Not to mention pedals, trans, trans crossmember, clutch, bell housing, master, slave..........

LT1 T-56's are getting harder to find. LS guys are buying and swapping the bell housing, front cover and input shaft to use with LS engines because of them being cheaper than an LS T56. Now that prices are creeping up on the LT1 T56 I think that will come to end for those guys. $2000 for everything seems very fair to me.
