I am working on a turbo build on my 1994 z28 LT1 here's a list of the engine mods, Performance radiator, Under drive pulley kit, K&N Cold Air Intake, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, MSD 6A ignition, Accel 8mm plug wires, Areomotive fuel pressure regulator, CSR electric water pump, BBK 58 MM throttle body, Ported intake, ported polished and decked LT1 heads, LT4 valve springs and retainers, GM LT4 hot cam, GM 1.6 rocker rollers ARP head bolt set. all backed by a Tremec T-56.

Now I don't know what my compression ratio is at all, I'm very new to this wonderful world of horse power but I'm dedicated. I also don't know what kinda power I already have, I'm thinking about 350, this car is running 8.6's in the 1/8th it was my first runs ever on the strip, but I'm in love with it. Enough of that

I have the 76mm turbo, ceramic ball bearing billet compressor wheel as well as hot side. I'm working on getting the headers as well as the piping etc. doing research I've come to find the stock bottom end crank etc are not very boost friendly. Now knowing I will be squeezing internals into the list of parts in wondering what are a good solid set for achieving handled boost pressures from 12 to maybe when I get a rear end 25psi again I am new to this so I'm open to all knowledge!

10K + in the bank....and a loving wife/gf that won't terminate your plans half way into the build....that's what you need.

But in all seriousness the vets on the FI board will jump in and help. Do some more research and read up on the existing builds. That's how I'm learning just reading up on people's mistakes and what they would do different. And sort of picking pieces here and there from different builds.

Like every build, it would be helpful to know your goals. Setting your eye on a boost number isn't the way I would go about it in my opinion.

Do you have a power goal in mind? Do you plan to track the car often, maybe a weekend or 2 or just a fun street car?

Also, do you plan on building this yourself or have a shop handle the effort?

.96 AR turbo, I'm not going off boost I was just asking what type of internal can handle that boost pressure, I'm looking in to getting about 700 maybe 750

who did the work on the heads and intake mani? I would toss that hotcam and springs and give Lloyd Elliot a call, he can spec you cam and spring combo that will best fit your goals and setup. he also does very good head work as well. what are you planning on running for injectors? I don't believe that a single walbro 255 will be sufficient enough for what you are wanting to do, but others can chime in on that. are you keeping the opti or going 24x? I only ask because of tuning, not many people will touch the ltx platform for tuning and swapping to the newer coil over plug setup with the 411 computer will allow more tuning options.

I hope you are planning on getting rid of the factory rear end if you haven't already and have the suspension setup ready for all that power. the t56 may also need some work to beef it up to handle what ever you are going to throw at it, you will also need a strong clutch as well. I will be running a McCleod street twin behind my 383 with a PT76 hanging off the front which is good up to 800ft-lbs.

get ready to open up your wallet to get a strong, well built setup but it will be well worth it in the end

Definitely getting rid of the rear end but I want to start with the heart and brain first haha, I was going to redo the whole thing, pull it out get rid of the guy before me and his bolt on's, being 19 and living at home for college my mother yells at all the time about this thing but I'm determined, I still have more than the average brain can handle to learn but I'm trying, the injectors I've been looking around and still not sure on injectors, I have the a centerforce dual friction stage 3 clutch which I find more to my liking considering I had your same clutch but replaced it, I'm going to pull the engine out and apart and have everything re-done so I have a long year ahead of me

What brand turbo, and what size turbine wheel?
