I'm currently running a Hurst but came across this one. Anyone running one?

I'd go MGW. No regrets going to it from my already great Hurst.
But that shifter those look interesting
Edit... Might have to sell the MGW order one of these for science... Reviews are great so far

My vote will always go to a Factory hurst and short stick combo. Haven't found one better.

My Hurst serves me well, but I have missed a gear on rare occasions. They claim no missed gears. Now I do have a Tick Performance stage3 built tranny. Seems to shift better now that I've put some miles on it. When I first got it you really had to slam it in gear when you were on it. Was told that was due to the Kevlar synchro's. Don't know how true that is. It's been awhile since I've missed a gear. Anyway, They have several videos on YouTube. Just looks like a really short throw.

I'm a fan of the aftermarket Hurst base with short stick.

I have a Pro 5.0 with the handle shortened and a Hurst traditional white ball. Love it.

I saw this too but damn it's pricey. I'm currently running a B&M Ripper shifter with a sidewinder shift knob.

ive had a pro 5.0, hurst, and mgw. I love the mgw hands down. at 230 shipped for the mgw, and this one at over 400 shipped this one would have to be a serious upgrade from the mgw, which I doubt.

Does the shorter stick feel like it made a difference?

Another vote for MGW. it was my first mod to my car and is still one of my favorites.

I had a stock Hurst with short stick. I then went to MGW and chopped about a half inch off. Before I chopped it, I didn't like the feel at all. Felt like a semi truck. Once I chopped the half inch off, it feels great. I intend on cutting more off however because it ain't short enough. The Hurst has a slightly longer stick than the MGW and I could feel a difference.

you thought the stock MGW felt like a semi truck? what? have you ever had a stock shifter? stock mgw stick feels just right to me. not to short and def not to long. but to each his own, but i def think the stock MGW stick length does NOT feel like a semi truck. lol

Ran the stock shifter when I bought the car. I didn't think it was that bad! The MGW just felt like it sat too high which gave it the semi truck feel to me. But the shifts were mint. I just wanted the stick to be down low so it would look pretty. I'm picky lol

It sits perfect for me at this point. My shift knob has the threads way up high inside so it doesn't sit really high like my other knob.

I impulse purchased the Hinson for my bird. Got it on Amazon at their sale price, 5% cash back from discover and 2 day prime shipping. Hopefully it's as good as everyone says otherwise it will be up for sale shortly thereafter. I really like my Hurst plus with lou's short stick so again, curious how this will feel/work.

Awesome! Keep us posted. I'm really thinking about purchasing one. Looks like they build some nice stuff and some really fast cars. My kid will probably end up with my hurst.

Back when mine was a 6 speed I Went from stock, to hurst, to Kirban, Then Finally a PRo 5.0. My Hurst was a POS. Springs were weak or something. On a hard shift the shaft would slide up out of the socket and go back to neutral, or get stuck in a gear. The PRO 5.0 I made a custom stick with a ball froma snapper lawnmower. It worked pretty good.
however at the LS fest this year Hinson had a demo set up with this shifter. If I still had a 6 speed Id bought one that day, It was By far sweeter than my old PRO 5.0

I went from a stock GM shifter (not even a Hurst) to an MGW and love it. I've never tried anything else. I don't race though, just cruise around and it's a much better upgrade than the stock one.

I did. I really like it but recommend going with the version with the offset handle. I had the straight handle version and felt like it was an inch too far to the right. A buddy made a spacer for me and now it's perfect IMO. Best way I can describe the shifter is like a bolt action rifle. It provides a nice direct shift with minimal effort. I also like how the shifter wants to slide from 2nd to 3rd.

The Hurst plus with the Lou's short stick was pretty good IMO but this is significantly better. The cost is another thing as I do think it's significantly overpriced.

Holy crap. Sorry I missed this man. I never used my Ripper at its stock height, but from the factory to the shortened one i was able to re adjust the stops, and its a firm short, click into each gear.

I have the Hurst Billet Plus in the Camaro and a B&M Ripper in the Roadmaster... I honestly like the Ripper more although the Hurst is light years ahead of the stock shifter.

Had the Hurst with a short stick in my LS car and went MGW in the Formula...Best money I spent on the car other than the 6 spd swap.
