I too think for what you get it's a good price. I want a lazy man's kit that I can just plug and play. I will only spray for personal best then use a little here and there for bracket racing in case I spin I can give it a quick shot to play catch up. I might have to journey down to Atco and hurt some whistling cars feelings.

I have that kit, or the 5-year-old version of it anyway. Can't go wrong for the price. I'll probably end up getting rid of it and going turbo down the road...if it ever gets on the road.

Would I need to up my fuel pump? I have a 255 now. 340 maybe?

Standalone with a low pressure fuel pump setup up front with race fuel in tank.

Yup stand alone is the the best because at the hit depending on shot size u may see a lean spike due to initial pressure drop if the pump cannot keep up with the volume it has to initially fill.



But if your on a budget a single 340 would be most ideal, u would pull fuel of the rail off schrader valve.

How much u looking to hose that 381 down with?

According to Nitrous Express my setup for fuel is good up to 650 RWHP.

I think a 100 or 150 at most should net me a 9.9.

Where's the converter stalling to? Rear gear?

I never like to be on the edge for fueling. A single 255 with hotwire kit has been proven to fuel some n2o lt1s to some low 10s high 9s.

Again i would be leary of pressure drop at the hit. We watched it happen on my buddies simple 383, wet plate system on a 150


For peace of mind u could put aanother 255 on a switch that arms when nitrous is activated.

Converter is a tight 4000, foot brakes to about 2100 and flashes around 3900, rear gear is 3.90.

I'll cautiously see how it goes before I make any fuel system changes.

That's good on the converter and gear. You can expect the converter to pick up 200 to.300 rpm per 100 horse of nitrous.

Well it figures. I was just offered a complete Paxton sn2000 supercharger kit with injectors for $750 bucks. Now I'm torn, send the nitrous kit back and go supercharged or keep nitrous? I've always wanted to be supercharged.
