Why are u selling after throwing so much at it and it basically being "brand new?"

Because in the 3 years I've owned it, I've spent more time working on it than driving it and gotten literally zero enjoyment out of it. I'm also sick of my wife asking me why a car I never drive is taking up a spot in our garage. I don't have the time or the desire to spend even 5 more minutes on it. Gave it an honest attempt this summer with the new bottom end to finally get it running and start driving it. After swapping the engine and it now having more ignition problems, I've had enough. Someone who knows more about LT1's and who has the time or desire can probably have a really nice car. I'm not that guy and I'm ready to move on. Would prefer to sell it whole and not go through the trouble of parting it out for all the reasons I just listed, but it has to go either way.

Ok. I understand the frustration. Sucks uve come all this way to throw in the towel.

Ok, I forced myself to give it one more shot to rule out the only other possible cause of the problem it was having and sure enough, it fixed it. The valves need to be adjusted on the passenger side, apparently I overshot when I adjusted the rockers and a few of them were hanging open. The car now runs fantastic, idles smooth, and pulls really hard. No longer interested in parting it out, but it's for sale. Looking for $8k for it, willing to deliver in the Milwaukee/Chicago area.

$7k, anybody interested? Solid LT1 car with a fresh drivetrain, tons of upgrades and new parts. I've already dealt with all the headaches so you don't have to.
