Used set of scat h beam rods with 7/16" arp 2000 bolts. The rod bolts were replaced when the engine was rebuilt so they have very little run time or wear on them. Part number 2-350-5700-2100A$350 shipped (I'll remove the pistons prior to shipping)

I sent a PM. Do you still have these and the Eagles for sale? How many miles are on the Scats?

Yes. Not sure on the milage on the scat. They were purchased used and one rod was replaced with a new one. They have about 200 miles on them since I've had a machine shop check them for out of round

You know of anyone who makes off the shelf pistons for 5.85 rods? All I can find are 5.7 or 6.0

You can run a 1.425" compression height piston (383 with 5.7" rod) on a stock stroke and they will put the piston -.010 on an non zero decked block. Or they would be .015 out of the hole on a zero decked block

Exactly, and that is why I was looking for off the shelf pistons for 5.85 rods, but it appears you have to custom order pistons for a 5.85 rod. Let me do some research and I will get in touch with you once I decide which way I am going to go.

I believe that the 400 sbc ran the 5.85" rods. I bought them because finding a decent dished piston for a 355 was harder than finding one for a 383. I guess it just depends on what you have and what you're going for. I've also got a set of eagle 5.7" H beam rods with 25k miles on them
