I have a 96 Camaro with an s trim blower on it. I am only seeing about 5 pounds of boost at 5800 rpm. The car has a front mount intercooler and a 224/236 114 cam. I know both of those things can lower boost. The crank pully is the standard kit size and I have gone to a 2.75 pully on the blower itself. I checked the bypass valve and it appears to hold vacuum and be working properly. I also inspected the belt for slippage and see no evidence of that either. I have done a visual inspection of the piping and see no leaks either. any help would be appreciated. I am also going to change my shift point closer to 6500 and i assume that will raise the boost level but i am not sure how much.
