Hey guys my mechanic received my t56 for my 4l60e to t56 swap yesterday and when I looked at the picture of the tranny he sent me the shift plate appears to be blue. Are the oem shift plates for a t56 blue? Or could there be a aftermarket shift kit in it? I haven't been able to go check it out yet but I was wondering if anyone knows what brand could have a plate color like that? 32758 and will there me any logos stamped on it if it is aftermarket?

Looks like an aftermarket shifter to me. No idea what brand though. The factory shifter plate is stamped steel.

looks like it's got a poly mount on it already too. hopefully it wasn't too badly abused lol

I bet that's a B&M Ripper. The one I had a long time ago was blue like that.

Sean's right. I run a shortened version of the same shifter.

Sean is correct. It is a B&M ripper. Good call man! Fastbird popo8 and holy crap is that shifter long! It also came with a centerforce clutch which is nice

Yeah I would but I have reached my budget on this. It didn't come with the clutch return spring and that alone cost $45! For a damn spring lol

You should take into consideration the triple rule...whatever you expect to spend on it or however much time you think it will take to change something, just go ahead and triple that number. That's usually how it works for me anyway.

You could cut it and take out what you want then weld it back together. If you have a welder
