Ive seen Josh (one of our sponsors) having alot of clutch talk/knowledge. I have a shortcut section to the sponsors in the sponsor section.

Well i personally love my centerforce dual friction clutch. I got it many years ago and it was put behind the stock motor (thats 8 years). Now its behind the procharged 385 at 602 rwhp...and (hope i dont jinx it) still rollin. Now i dont race the car...but i slip the hell out of the clutch often due to the locker in the rear (makes it smoother).... very happy... but Josh told me the cost has jumped . I believe i got it in the 600s... amd now its like 1k. Very streetable...

I'd be happy to help him out. What's the setup of the car, how often does he plan on racing it, and what tires does he plan on using?

It's a 383 with le2 heads, tires are currently nitto 555rs, rear end has 4.56s, and how often I'm not sure but I know he wants a street able clutch that can hold up to racing not sure how much power it's putting out

I'd recommend the 2+ or 3+ if he goes with Spec. The 3+ is probably more clutch than he needs but it's a great piece and it'll last quite awhile. We can also get other clutch brands with the exception of Competition Clutch. There's a decent amount of people using them here who seem to like them. They're priced pretty competitively but since I've never worked with one I can't say much more than that.

I vote Mcleod Street Twin. Might be overkill, but I rather have too much clutch than not enough.
