i got a poly trans mount for my car and the bolts with it are too short, i'm not sure if it's for an auto or what the deal is. what is the the correct part number for a poly trans mount for a 94/t56 firebird? would prefer prothane brand.

Stock mount works great and fits great also..Too much vibration with the polly mounts imo.

i'm running solid engine mounts in a fully gutted car with a kirkey welded to the floor, i'm not so much concerned with a smooth ride as i am performance/driving feel.

According to Prothane the 7-1604 in the link you posted shows to be the trans mount for 67-02 V6/V8 cars, it doesn't have separate numbers for auto/M6.

Here is a 7-1604 i had laying around. It works... figured i would post a picture of the actual one instead of a stock photo.

i ordered one from Summit, should have it the week. i think the other one i have is energy suspension, it has two bolts instead of the studs.

I have the Prothane one pictured. It's kinda harsh for the first week but smooths out after that. I broke 2 stock mounts within 2 years so that wasn't an option.

this is what i'm trying to avoid. i'd rather build the car like it'll live at the track it's whole life so that it has no problem handling a beating when i flog on it.

I have the same mount. Its really not that bad at all. You can feel alittle more vibration and noise coming thru the car, but the benefits out way everything else.
