I'm looking to ditch my accel dfi for something a little more user friendly and with more support (or just more people that run a certain system). I know the LS1 pcm is a popular choice but I know zero about it. The car is boosted, I don't need 2 step control or anything like that. Is the LS1 pcm a viable alternative to another aftermarket system or should I just stick with what I have? I'm currently running an opti as my crank trigger on the dfi and it works fine, so I'm not hell bent on coil packs, but it would be nice to run a single computer that will operate the transmission AND engine. Thoughts?

The 24x is better for Tunability and it's has way more parameters and tables that a tuner can mess with to help you run more boost and run it more efficiently

Are you saying it's more capable that an aftermarket pcm (fast, holley, big stuff, etc) or just the obd1?

Ok. How about capability-wise. 2 step, multiple stage nitrous aside, is there anything mine can do that the ls pcm cannot?

A 2 step u have u use a seperate module on ls1 pcm. Yours has the ability to somewhat self learn on the wot fueling u set a afr and it targes that. The ls1 pcm does not on it u command an AFR and u adjust ve or maf to match the commanded. If your really looking to switch i see alot of guys with holley efi and their dominator version i believe has transmission control capable.
