So...Now it's time to replace the clutch...Starting to catch really high and slip on hard take offs. Would it be possible to convert it to a push style clutch without changing the transmission? If so, how do I do that? Also, is it worth it? Push style seems to be more reliable and can handle more power, which would be nice when I do a build but you guys tell me.
Thanks again!

It is possible but it's gonna cost some $. You'll need an LS style input shaft installed in the trans ans an LS bellhousing. You'll then need to convert the hydraulics over to LS style. It's been done before and there is a much larger selection of clutches for the LS T56.
Kye's name on here is Formula383 here's his webpage about it (http://www.formula383.com/2011/10/05/lt1-to-ls1-t56-conversion/).
If you decide to stay with an LT1 clutch or switch to an LS style I'd be happy to quote you some prices.

I can't remember his screen name but Kyle M had it done to his formula before he moved on to a zl1.

I know it's an old thread, but I'm shopping around and gathering parts for a T56 swap. Would I be able to use an LS style trans if I got the LS clutch and hydraulics?
