this guy totally burned me a new chip and man its a good tune. there is nothing fancy about my lt1, its mainly stock except for k&n cold air and catback flowmaster, msd opti. see stock basically but the guy totally changed how the car felt as well as boost some hp. not sure how much due to no dynos around here but the car runs cooler idles around 650-700 rpm crispy throttle response and now speed limiter. also moved my redline to 6500 rpm. im extremely shock how much a tune can improve a vehicle performance to this extent. anyone ever heard of john wayne? i found this guy on facebook check him out. he even does tunes for tbi.

It seems like all I've seen is his posts on Facebook and people saying he's a scammer , him being banned from some pages . But I personally do not have any experience with him . You seem really happy , I'm glad you have had a great experience hopefully others will too.

Your M6 should idle at 800 RPM, factory spec. What is the advantage in the lower idle speed? Why would you want a 6,500 RPM redline on a stock engine? How much cooler does it run? Did you also install a 160°F t'stat?

You indicate "now speed limiter" and "now scamming on me". Are you confusing the words "no" and "now"?

^^ What he says, and Spinning a "Stock" motor to 6500 is completely useless but good for throwing rods out the side of the block.

i run a 180 t stat, i dont spin it up that high but have had it to 6000 with no problems, and idling a little lower is just my preference. and i meant no speed limiter and no scamming. lmao.

It's kind of hard to get a factual before/after on a simple chip burn without providing before/after dyno sheets, track times, data logs, something substantiating to back up the claims of it being a good tune. I just had the (dis)pleasure of seeing a VE table on a good friends car from a nationally known tuner......let's just say the VE table itself I could see issues, and the 3d graph was just gnarly further substantiating why my buddy is experiencing split fuel trims and backfiring.

There's really not a lot you can do to a stock tune to make it better on a very light bolt on car like yours. Lean out the PE table, adjust for fans, remove limiter or slightly raise it (though 6500 is way too much, the car quits making power and starts dropping at about 6k rpm, going higher is just unnecessary wear and tear and really dangerous given chances for valve float and other unpleasant things). Problem I see with dropping the idle also is if it's not set correctly elsewhere, then you run the risk of stalling the car when suddenly releasing the clutch and letting it into neutral (throttle follower especially), not to mention lower idle vacuum which does assist the brakes. No real reason for it.

Anyone can claim to be a tuner when they're modifying stock files. Just be cautious.
