I'm looking into getting a set of 3.73 gears on my 1997 Trans Am a4.
Current mods are race pacesetter long tubes and 2.5" xpipe.
My questions are, can someone show me where a good place to buy these gears are, and should i get any supporting mods before adding them, and will I need a tune to run them correctly?
Thank you in advanced.

American-Powerhouse is my go-to for parts. Gail will hook you up with anything you are after. An install kit is probably a good idea. If I had to do it over again, I would have went with Motives.

You don't really need supporting mods for gears aside from a tune to correct your speedo. If it is untuned now, it is a good idea to do a tune anyway. My car had full exhaust/cai/tune and the gears made it a ton more fun to drive. Not to mention it knocked off a good chunk of time at the track.

In addition to the install kit, lube, and limited slip additive you might want to consider the Ratech solid pinion spacer.
