As many of you know, today was Dyno Day thrown by @popo8 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=1330) and @misspopo. Overall i am very happy with how both cars did considering the circumstances around both builds. My car, first pull open loop, with a slight break-up around 5k rpm, put down 345 whp and 377 lb ft on a dynojet. This is, as far as i know, completely stock bottom end, stock heads with lt4 springs, original 94 head gaskets with 241k miles on it, hotcam, 1.6's, all the bolt ons, and a ghetto pvc cai, stock stall, 2.73 rear. its leading us to believe it may have been opened once and been overbored, but i talked to the previous owner and he said as far as he knew it never was, and he owned it from 100k to 181k.

the stock bottom end LE2 Heads/Cam/Intake full-bolt on, built trans and stall car put down 359whp and 353 lb-ft of torque. this was on a @MoeHorsePower (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=1487) BASE tune. when i mean base, it was just a get it started tune from when we put it together that it seems to run decent on. looking at the datamaster logs, the INJ DC went over 115 on the pulls past 4800 rpm, so i think these accell injectors suck, and are screwing up. hoping to bring this number up with new injectors and a good dyno tune.

now, i have to get my rearend redone, i want heads done as well, he wants to get gears, and get these things to the track to see how they do.

this motor always ran like a freak. in my 94 when the previous owner took it to the track the week before i bought it it ran 13.1/13.1/12.97 with shorties, elbow, cai, and flowcrapster catback. im runnin it till it cooks. it doesnt eat oil or anything. synthetic its whole life, maybe thats the trick.

Impressive numbers on that hotcam setup especially for the high mileage!
