Man I keep saying this but we gotta start combining these 80e questions..... anyway
I'm going to piggyback a 95 lt1 pcm as a standalone controller to operate my 80e. I need to know what sensors to splice into from the dfi to input to the lt1 pcm that the transmission needs. Anyone know? I'm thinking tps, map, ect, speed sensor, rpm..... anything else you can think of? Thanks in advance.
P.S. edge converters WILL custom make a front plate to fit a 154 tooth flywheel. $585 ftw

154 huh? Quite custom shiznit you gots ;)

I would say you would need VSS, TPS, and maybe tach?

Now, I know you can run the 80e on a LT1 60e tune but have you thought about grabbing a -0411 PCM and doing a segment swap? May be less wiring, but it may also introduce more headache with sensors.

Yea I was quoting a movie. "Redoing the wiring huh? What are you putting in, 220?" "Yea 220,221.... whatever works."
Its getting built for the 153 tooth plate. I've looked into the 0411 swap but I've got everything I need to do it with the lt1 pcm. If I was going to spend anymore money on it I would probably just do the full manual shift kit.

And of course, you need a 12v source for trans.

Good call. I'm going to give it a crack. I've got pcm pigtails from a chopped up harness and a trans connector pigtail. I'm going to install some connectors to my dfi harness for 5v reference, tps signal and ground, map signal and ground, tach, ect, 12v ignition and constant. Might try to find a nice 10 pin weather pack connector so in the event I change it or sell it, its just a matter of unplugging it from the inputs. If the lt1 pcm sucks at running the 80e at least I'll have them available for another pcm. Sounds good in my head anyway. Now I just gotta figure out a way to drive a mechanical speedo without spending $350 for a Abbott X box.

You can buy a mechanical version from Jake's but its $550 so that is not helpful.

It may be cheaper to swap out the gauge and install a new GPS based speedo.
