My trans cooler lines are leaking on my car. Looks like the fittings on the line at the trans are both rounded off. GM doesn't sell the lines anymore. Does anyone know of a place that sells them? I have already tried the local auto parts stores. They all tell me that I'll have to bend/flare them myself. I would rather get some new ones and put them on. Never had good luck with bending/flaring lines.

You can buy short sections of line that have the correct flare and fitting on the end. Cut the ends off your originals somewhere where the tube comes down and starts to go forward. Get 2 compression fittings for the lines, and just bend the 2 new ends to match the old one's. Compression fittings work fine for cooler lines.

Thanks Frank! Back in my college auto class days I was never great with bending and flaring lines. I'll pick up some sections of line and use the compression fittings and take fix them.

Thanks
