Guys, I'm pulling my hair out here. The down and dirty of it is that P0443 (EVAP purge solenoid circuit fault) will not go away. I know the solenoid and wiring are good. I know the PCM driver is working right. But this code comes back every time I clear it after a couple ignition cycles.
So, my question: Is there somewhere in the tuning software to turn off this code, or something related to it? The PCM has been tuned by Moe Bailey, but he's saying he does not see anywhere for him to change stuff like that. He's using LT1 Edit AFAIK.
This is driving me nuts, I can't register my car with this stupid SES light on. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well it is in Tunercats OBD2 and JET DST...maybe he should look again.

Can you point me in the right direction where, so I can relay it to him? What exactly would he be looking for?

Well I'm sure its different in LT1edit but it's under Dianostics/Emissions Control Diagnostics in JET and Tunercats
If he can export a .cal file I can change it for you

MY obd2 Setup would not allow the evap noid code to be cleared when i removed the noid. Different situation since mine was actually removed... but two local tuners amd moehorsepower could not clear that one code. Sooo.. injust put the noid back on...plugged it in...running to nothing. no light. Maybe ur noid took a dump.
The other evap and emission codes were no prob. but the noid evap code stayed.

All my EVAP junk has been ripped off my 97 with no codes. Like I said p0433 is an option in tunercat...no idea on other software.

I sent Moe the link for this thread, so hopefully he gets ahold of one of you guys. I also have a P1657 code (CAGS) which I'm pretty sure is also the tune. If I could get this all sorted out by the end of the month, I'd feel much better.

Did you ever get this worked out?

Nope, and it's going to have to wait because I'll be out of the country on business again.

I contacted the software vendor and there is probably an updated version that will delete those codes, but I have been so dang busy I just havent had the time to get back to them, I will try this week.
