Anybody? If so, how narrow did you go? How far can you go before mini tubs and offset lca's are a necessity?

I narrowed my 9 inch 2.5 inches per side. I believe 3 is the limit with offset control arm bushings.

I'm narrowing mine 1.5" per side currently.

UMI its for rod ends. Cost 30.00 I belive I got them a couple years ago so I would have to double check to be sure.

Umi and spohn are two off the top of my head that make offset lca's/ offset rod ends. I'm going to narrow mine at least 2" per side, maybe more. There's a better wheel selection, and prices are cheaper for 4.5-5.5 bs.

You can go about 3 depending on the wheel combo. Mines narrowed 8" offset lcas is all

Mine is 2 or 2.5" per side using a 15x10 w/5.5" BS, 28x10.0 tire, 12.5" section widht, no mini tub and stock suspension component locations. I did have to trim the fendersat the front back and top and clearance the inside of the stock wheel tubs. Nothing too crazy and not really noticable either.

I will get some later tonight.
Edit, here ya go:
Looking down driver side
26695
Under the car from the back
26696
Stock LCA, shock (rotated 180* for Afco's) and spring location
26697
Had to trim some from the lower plastic at the rear
26698
Had to use a 3lb hammer to "dent" the inside of the wheel well at the front, bottom behind the tire in this pic. Actually you can see part of what I had to "clearance" in the 3rd pic down to the right of the LCA.
26699
The only other place I had to trim was the li[p inside the fender at the top of the wheel well. This was all to fit a 28" tire at my ride height. If your runnin a smaller tire or taller ride height some of this might not be needed. My tires are 28" tall, 10.0" wide at the tread and, 12.5" wide at the widest part of the side wall between the wheel and tread. Those are 15x10 wheels with a 5.5" backspace and stock 96 brakes. Hope this answers your question!

Cool, thanks for the pics. I've already rolled my fender lips, and did the bfh mod when I had 19's w/325's on the car, so I'm hoping I won't have to do more.
