I am going to be trying to restore my taillights. Took them off today and water literally poured out. I am planning to repaint the grid pattern when I got to thinking if I can sand down the old bars why not try something custom, but I cant think of any ideas that would look tacky. Got any suggestions for a custom design I can paint in place of the bars?

i would kill the grid entirely and give them a light smoke tint. Then add sequential signals. Thats what I plan for my 3rd gen t/a tail lights

I want the sequential but cant afford any unnecessary projects right now

I was thinking about that. I also saw on that other site, someone had sprayed the bars on the outside then cleared. I might do that because these are a pain in the ass to take apart. I actually cracked it pretty bad.

Actually I just remembered I bought a dremel....I think if I am careful I can separate the other one ALOT easier

I could be real I suppose, the lighting seems to dark over the taillights to be in the sun.
