I just wanted to see if anyone on here is running an injectordriver. I see guys on here with turbo and SC and have to be running some big injectors

We used to run one. Never had a problem with it. Pulled it off when we went to fast.

It's slowly becoming not required. There are up to 80#/hr high impedance injectors now, which is a LOT of fuel.

Yea, 80# is "small" really when you can go past 210# injectors...

I came close to being out of injector but cranked base fuel pressure up to LS1 land ~50psi which makes for "larger" injectors.

Micky 550's:eek:
We maxed out a set of 85's then we said f it and got a set of 150's.

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/27/tehydu6a.jpgI read that the stock ecm can't open and hold the bigger injectors efficiency. I'm wanting to some 96#ers and was looking at a Versafueler and racetronic harness over ls1tech.

How many guys actually end up needing more injector than an 80# though? I was at 76% DC on my low-z 84# injectors at 767 rwhp. How many guys are really going to push that high?

If I make that much hp I'll be pretty fuckin happy. Did yo u make that with stock heads?

Until we bumped my fuel pressure up to 50psi, my tuner was thinking I was going to run out of injector..

Hell no. That was with LE ported Trick Flow 195's, the original design from the mid 2000's. I do know that SRZ made about 720 RWHP with a 385, CC306, ported stock castings, and an ATI F-1A blower.

I'll be running ported stockers. I think the 96# injectors are going to be perfect for what goal I'm after.

if shownomercy's tuner was worried about running out of fuel with the 80's, 96's are the the next up and I'm looking for the same hp range.

I was at 85% duty cycle @ 42psi, and never came close to WOT, so ya.

Well, 80# at 50psi is close to 90#, think you will be fine with the 80#'s

To an extent but then your just tossing money away to be different. We have the same turbo and I would feel confident in saying 80# will be fine for ya

Not really, the 80# and 96# cost the same and the driver only cost me $160 to be sure that I have enough injector and open and hold properly. I don't care about being different, I just want to be sure is all.
