I have a 95 m6 z28. I here recently replace the clutch,PP,and throw out bearing due to the retaining clip on throwout bearing coming lose at the track. I replaced it with a stock kit from O'Reilly. Now, from 4000 rpms up, I get a sight vibration. I did notice there were no paint marks on the flywheel to balance match it to. A few people told me to just put the paint mark as close to the flywheel locator pin as possible. Does anyone have idea as to weather it is that or the driveshaft out of balance. I know the clutch,pp,tb,and fw have been replaced once before in it.

Is this a stock engine or has it been rebuilt/built?

I had that issue when I got mine built at about 3k rpm vibration and the whole dash would rattle it was my flywheel.

Thanks guys for the replies. I think I figured out what the problem is. I have a cat delete done to my car. I noticed today that the vibration is coming from the rear of the car. I beleve it is just my exhaust rattling. Whoever did the cat back on it kinda did a hack job at welding it. Oh well just a good excuse for me to put headrs on it, and start my true duals project. Thanks again guys!
