The B&M Pro Stick has an available 4 speed gate plate. I've seen them integrated into the factory console. There's not a big market for them because they're not usually needed for a 4L60E. You can check with Gail @ American Powerhouse for a price on the shifter and gate plate. She's a sponsor/vendor on here.

This is the Pro Stick in my Z. I chose to remove the console and optional housing for the shifter. You can order a Pro stick without the housing and install it in your factory console with a little fabrication, though. I'll get Gail to post a price of the shifter without the housing.

I like that shifter as well...had a friend of mine modify it to an OE base plate so it bolts into place just like the OE shifter

The pistol grips are nice, but substantially more expensive. Looks good in there.

I thought the 4l60e shifters have that little slide sensor on the side to tell the computer what gear it is in? Is this not needed?

honestly couldnt tell ya... i dont run a 4L60E. i run a full manual valve bodied 700R4 (SS) and a MVB TH350 (Z28)

I have a complete 350th swap ready and waitin for my 4l60e to take a dump. But let me tell ya, it's been a helluva transmission. 4 years and counting on the rebuild. 30 plus track passes. 1.59 60's.

I just don't want to give it up right now lol.

You have a 350 set up with the correct output shaft so that your torque arm and speedometer will work correctly, and your mount is in the correct location? If the 350 is actually built for the conversion, it's a direct bolt in. But, my obvious question is WHY a 350? It's no stronger than a 4L60E and you lose the 3.06 first gear and overdrive.

That switch is simply a neutral safety switch and reverse light switch on the shifter. It's not actually a mode switch like later 4L60Es used. The pro Stick comes with microswitches for neutral safety and reverse lights. It's just a matter of swapping the wires to the new switches.

the th350 is alot cheaper to rebuild, its natoriously stronger than a 4L60E theres a reason no one makes a trans brake anymore for the 700R4 and the 4L60E.

A 350 isn't any stronger than a 4L60E, if it's built correctly. Yes, a 350 is cheaper to built initially, but to make it actually fit usually offsets the cost. What is the purpose of a transbrake? We have 4L60E cars cutting bottom 1.3 60 ft. times on a footbrake.

T brake makes building boost a hell of a lot easier.

No doubt about that. I wasn't aware that we were talking about a turbo car. jayz28 is your car a turbo?

i was referencing more the fact that a 4L60E wont take a trans brake hit, where as a TH350 will. i personally foot brake... ive cut 1.4 60's on my 700R4, but id also say there is a reason people swap to th350 and th400's and power glides over having a 4L60E. i personally have a 700 in 1 car and a th350 in another.

$199 for that? I am in once I hit that section of the build. As I also thought that the stock shifter was computer controlled for some reason. I was told that. Thank god for ltxtech. :D
