Has anyone switched to a hydraulic throw out bearing? Im looking at doing this. I have a LT1 T56 in my 72 Nova with a small block chevy with a 2pc rear main and I have to run a special flywheel and LT1 clutch. I have a spec 3 in the car now and Im blowing right throw the clutch. So im looking to change my set up.

I don't think there's a way to convert to a hydraulic TOB with the pull style LT1 clutch fork. You can switch to an LS style input shaft, bell housing, and clutch which uses a hydraulic pusher style TOB.

All of the LT1 stuff would be removed. and run LS1 style hydraulics. If I go LS, then it moves the shifter in the floor and driveshaft length changes.

Unless there's a difference in the bell housing size I don't see how it would move the sifter much at all. Thre are people on this site who have switched clutch systems in the F body.
