Hey everyone. I'm putting up for sale my other 97 Z28 roller I was gonna put together. I have two identical cars and have already started parting the other one out which I posted a few months back on here. Its a black hardtop M6 car with 97k on the body. The body is in very good shape and solid. All body panels are oem original with factory paint. Never been in an accident or painted before. All the body gaps and lines are great. Doors open and close fine with no hinge sag. The bottom of the car is very clean as well. It has the gray leather 30th anniversary seats in MINT shape, which is about impossible to find. The seats, themselves, are worth some very good money. Mint leather door panels with clean dash and full center console (Boot, cigarette lighter, cup holders). No wear on steering wheel and good visors. Headliner is starting to sag which is common. Has a 3.42 posi disc rear end. Overall, this car is extremely clean and solid inside and out.
The only problem is with the title. I bought the car without a title in hopes of getting it from the actual owner. (Long story). I do know that it has a clean Wisconsin title with no bank lien on it. I actually contacted the Wisconsin DMV and they provided me a form I could send in to get the previous owner's information. Then, once I received that back, I could fill out another form to file a mechanics lien to obtain a new clean title.
I'm extremely busy right now and don't have the time to deal with it or even finish building it. I'm gonna put it up for sale as it sits for a few weeks and see if someone wants as is. Its too nice of car to part out, but I'll do it if it doesn't sell as a roller. It would also be a good candidate as a strip car if someone didn't even care about the title. Car is located about 2 hours west of Chicago. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow. I do have a lot of other parts that can be included as well that include a good short block, heads, intake, T-56 trans with new spec 2+ clutch, and lots of aftermarket parts which I'm gonna list in another post. It will be tough to find a low mileage, M6 hardtop that's in this good of shape in and out to start with. Never been modded or cut up. Anyways, if there are any questions just let me know.
