Alright,I was headed up to a buddies about 10 min.away.I heard what sounded like a bolt fell.My car kicks back to a lower gear.I thought I might have run over something.I tried to shift up wouldnt shift.i heard another bolt fall and it quit pulling. You can hear something spinning sound and like its trying to hit a gear or something.I think and a lot of people have said it sounds like a torque converter. You see my mods and my stall? Is my stall to big for for my mods? And could that be why it went down?

Tore it down today, broke the ear off the stall and the front pumps down.Metal shavings all threw it.Ill have to build another one.Im going to put a stock 4L60E I have in it while I build another 4L60E.I might build a 700R for it.Whats the thoughts on that?

What is the logic in building a 700? A 700 isn't any stronger than a '60E. You'd also have to convert to a '93 style throttle body, and find a TV cable bracket and TV cable from a '93 F-body...Both of which are getting hard to find.

I was wanting to find something more available. That 94 trans is hard to find sometimes.I found one tho and put the 4L60E back in it.Im having the first trans redone.I had a fortune in that trans. Its running and shifting great now.It just dont have the shift other one had.

A fortune? We only charge $1500 for 4L60Es that run in the 9's. We buy as many '94 cores as we come across. I think I'm down to 3 right now.
