I wasnt planning on this, but shit happens... haha. Gonna start another project, an 87 trans am street stock ish build. I originally bought this car at the end of December, to part out to make money and keep a select few things. 21925
Day I brought it home. She obviously spent some days in the trailer park... but she's moving up In the world now. Lol. When I bought it, had been sitting in storage for 5? Years, it had a crap 454 with edelbrock intake, carb, msd compontents and th400 trans. Along with sweet custom paint and tint :facepalm:21926

Spent about $20 getting the 454 running, and sold it pretty quick along with msd 6al and billet plus distributor later on. Had tons of people wanting to buy rhe roller but no one could come up with $500. Lol. This car is damn straight, about 5 small dents in the whole thing including a couple from hall. I needed the money but didn't really wanna sell it. I like the body style and wanted to do somrthing with it. After trying to sell it for 7 months, and had almost stripped it and scrapped it, leaving the house one night to head to the strip, I looked at it sitting by the street and thought, (as always) wish I could keep it... so asked the gf, "if we ever put a car together for you, what do you think about the 87?" She says she'd like it. So I say that settles it, I'm keeping it. :) she will be getting an lt1, basicly following street stock engine rules, but not building it for the class. I'm building it for handling and gonna lighten it up. Itll be a long process but one I'm going to make her help with.
And learn cause she'll get to drive it. I'm going thurs to pick up 2000 trans am dash, seats, and rear end for it. so it'll have a few comfort items too. ;) I told her my thoughts were flat black for the paint, and some 17s or 18s. But that's aways down the road. Here's a couple ideas for finished product. Leaving the factory wing though.

Figured I'd start the build thread before it even really starts. Lol. Will prob be awhile before there's any updates. Wasn't sure if there was another build section so I started here. You can move it if there is a better place.
