I'm selling my car. I made a deal to buy the car my Dad and I built together, and I simply can't pass it up. That means the Formula needs to go. Car is located in SW Michigan (~45 minutes from South Bend, IN) or SE Michigan (~45 minutes from Toledo, OH), depending on where I am at the time. Planning on dropping it at my Mom's place near Ann Arbor, MI in 2 weeks and leaving it there until it's sold.

Anyway, the car is an LT1/T56 car, T-Tops, dark grey leather. Keyless entry, PW, PL. Body is largely rust-free, although there are a couple of areas where surface rust is starting.

Issues: Trans sometimes grinds into 2nd gear, usually when trying to shift too quickly. Likely to need a rebuild at some point, although it is still driveable at present. Tires will need replaced soon, fronts are about gone, rears have a couple good burnouts left in them. Will need a new MAF sensor also. Just put a reman'ed one from Autozone on the car, made the low-RPM hesitation worse. Verified it's caused by MAF by borrowing one from a friend that we know works, hesitation was gone.

Shift boot retainer was broken when I bought the car, replaced it with a metal one. Has a WS6Store short stick and ball shift knob w/ 6-speed shift pattern on it, black w/ white lettering.

Interior is in GREAT shape, drivers' seat has a TINY cut on the edge of the bolster, and a seam has split on the seat bottom, which could be repaired easily. Dash pad is in excellent shape. All gauges work. All power accessories work. Everything works.

It has a few issues, like they all do, but I've put a ton of work into it, and it's a solid car.

New parts since I bought it:
-Starter
-Optispark
-Plugs/Wires
-Coil
-Fuel Pump
-Water Pump
-Timing Set (used w/ 38k miles)
-PCV Valve
-Fuel Filter
-Compression Test-All 8 cylinders within 5psi +/- of 192psi. Car runs strong, just needs a new MAF Sensor to eliminate the low RPM hesitation.

I'm sure there's a bunch I'm forgetting, but my mind is fried at the moment.

Asking $3,000. I've got more than that into it, so I'm not really too flexible on price. I do, however, have a TON of F-Body parts/LT1 parts, both stock and aftermarket, that I'm getting rid of as well, so if you need anything, let me know.

So your saying all it needs is a good MAF and the car is 100% (with exception of the 2nd gear grind)?

How many miles? Clear title?

163k original miles. Clean and clear title in my hands, I'm the 3rd Owner, and Carfax shows no accidents on record.

Forgot to mention mods. . .

K&N FIPK
BBK Stainless Shorty Headers
Cat Delete
AIR Delete
Magnaflow Cat-Back
LED dome/map lights (missing one map light, trying to get it from the friend who made them, he left it in his desk and keeps forgetting it)

I have some other performance goodies too, which can be included at extra cost, but I don't want to clog this thread with the details of parts, just trying to sell the car at the moment.

Not really 100%, it needs some minor rust repair (slight surface rust on bottom of driver front floorpan and under battery tray, TINY bit of bubbling under the paint on driver's side 1/4 panel above tire), has some scratches/dings in the paint, common wear for a 19 year old car, really. May need a clutch in a year or two, it's not slipping, but the engagement occurs at the top of the pedal travel, rather than about 1/2 way down like in my last T56 car.

Needs tires, clutch, trans rebuilt, paint work, rust repair, and some serious cleaning to get it to about 95%, then it's little things like stitching the split seam in the driver's seat, cleaning the crap out of the whole car, repainting the centercaps on the wheels, etc.

It's a great car, don't get me wrong, but it isn't at the level I'd like it to be at if it were purely a show car. As a driver, you could pick it up today and drive it home, no problems. I'm over-critical of the car though, it's in better shape than 90% of the cars in this price range on Craigslist. I was asking $3500, because of all the time and money spent on the car, but for a quick sale, I dropped it to $3k. It's worth every penny guys, I have more than that into it currently. I've done a TON of work to get the engine running like it is. Just had the opportunity present itself to buy a car that, honestly, means more to me personally than this one does. I've had this car for almost a year, the car I'm trying to buy has been in my family for 20 years.

If you want EVERYTHING I have for LT1 F-Bodies, bring 2 people, a full size truck, car hauler, and prepare to spend a few hours loading everything up. Lots of extra stock parts, aftermarket parts (every tubular suspension part made for these things with the exception of SFC's and K-Member, long tube headers, electric cutout, cutout pipes, aftermarket valve covers, SLP 2OTL exhaust, a '93 parts car, 2 or 3 sets of heads, simply too much stuff to list.)

If you take EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING), I'll let it go for $6,000, and I'll help you load it all up. Drive the '94 home, trailer the '93, and FILL the truck with parts.

Can you get some pics of the rust you're talking about?

I'll do my best to pull it out of the garage on Tuesday and snap some pics. Undercarriage will be a little difficult, since I don't have any way to lift the car up, but I'll do what I can.

Bump. Going to pull the car out and snap some pics tomorrow (well, today, technically), and I'll post them up here sometime tomorrow evening.

Available to show the vehicle any time over the next 3 days. It's going back to SE MI on Tuesday of next week.
