I was just wondering if anyone ever performed the "CETA mod" on the rear bumper on a TA before the 02 CETA car came out?

I don't see why it would matter when it was done. It's overdone nowadays anyway.

Honestly it looks a bit tacky to me and I would probably only do it if my car ran a little rich and made my bumper look bad so I'd just paint the area black so it wouldn't be noticable.

I was just curious. Yeah, CETA has to be done on the right color. When people do it on ugly colors it fucks it up. Silver is one of the good colors :D

I had a flat black ceta on mine it was ok but I just painted it gloss black and it looks way better..I would have never done it the first time but the last owner went crazy with some touch up paint that looked like crap and this only cost me like 10 bucks or so to paint myself

I'm rockin the gloss black for now...That looks really good. Is that bright red or cayenne red metallic?

You need some black pontiac fill-ins.

And some tire shine......

I'll be doing the CETA on my red '96 T/A in semigloss. IMO the best thing you can do. Not the ricer-ish flat, or the too-blingy gloss.

what bugs me is when people with black T/A's do a flat black bottom... whats the point??

leave it gloss black like the rest of the bumper, it looks better :D

Any "Berger panel" looks that way.

I have seen a white LT1 TA who had it done, this may have been before the cetas cames out, if it was after, then he must have been the first guy to do it
