Some Outlaws were there, Ryan Martin, Dave Comstock & Bobby Ducote, but a couple of guys that some of us know personally also showed up and did really well. Frank Soldridge was in Radial vs the World (I think) and Tyree Smith was in his X275 Chevy 2 nova. Check it out if you have time.

The track is a completely different from the Street. Even thou the street outlaws are filmed in a controlled environment it's not preped like the track the ambulance and fire are present if there is a wreak.

I got an email from MIR about the race and it had a list of other tracks...that was the reason behind my question. It said Joliet, IL, Maple Grove, PA and Ennis, TX were on the track list for this year.

i doubt it, sounded n/a and i think i saw a 4 speed shifter in there too, most likely a street/weekend cruiser type deal. his SRT jeep would be more of a contender, that thing is quick. most of the guys on the list are running low 3 seconds in the 8th, not many "street cars" are going to touch that

The show has turned into nothing different then go to the track. It has become a production set. No threat of police, safety and ambulance with perimetics. Safety barricades at the end of shut down. The only difference is there spectators our on T.V every Monday night instead of Friday thru Sunday in the stands.

As many people tune in and watch with the illusion of breaking the law. I enjoy the show for its entertainment value. Farm truck& AZN are more down to earth guys enjoying racing.

NPK is the show that allows the spectator to come and watch the racing and meet some of the stars of street outlaws. The avg car person could not afford the drive train in one of the cars on street outlaws.

I could really care less about them acting like it's illegal. I'd rather see 10 more minutes of replays than them driving round pretending to look for spots and pay off security. Though I do wish they changed the location so it wasn't a road with 8 years of rubber on it lol.

I agree with finding a better road. They basically just flip to see who's in the right lane. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who will watch but hasn't so I'll just say, I thought the race between Ryan and Doc was awesome. I watch the show hoping to see racing like that.
