well guys i have been doing tree work as long as i can remember on the side for family when needed. at my parents house there was a cotton wood tree that need to come down ... so i wanted to share some pics and videos of the process ... enjoy

going up the right side of the tree we cut off the last big branch (at the level of the top of the evergreen tree) and called it a day

then today I finished it off and how do you take a big tree down ... one swing at a time

a chain saw helped a little but here is me taking down the last of the main trunk

when we hauled off the wood to the dump the load was 5,000+ lbs just from the part i took down today.

Lol good job. Looks like that tree was about one breeze away from coming down on its own!

That was a damn good sized tree! The white bird in the background was a bonus too.

I used to cut for Davey for a long time. I don't even like to help cut anymore. After a few years of eating saw dust all day, man that mess gets old lol. Specially ROW clearing
