well i said i wasn't going to make a project thread due to building this car for grudge reasons(its a lt1 it has to be slow right? ;)) but since i have completely gone budget on it, then i guess it would be cool for you guys to see whats going on and maybe give me some more motivation to work on it. i planned on letting the car sit for a few years while trying to build it(way to much money for one year) but some things have changed in my life and i want to drive my car lol. the car ran really well last season(AI200cc heads and big old cam) never took it to the track but figured it would have went bottom 11s. but you guys know how it goes, it just wasnt enough lol. so i jumped on the the whole boost band wagon. i purchased a complete turbo system from Realquick aka lt1boost over on ltx tech. you can see his work at lt1boost.com i believe, he does awesome work. so i have a really good kit that should make some awesome power(with the right turbo) i planned on modifying it a tad(to receive a t6) but now i am saying screw it lol. i started at the end of last season collecting parts and what not, Johnny hooked me up on a whole front end for the beast. i will upload some pics and add more to this, but i have to get going.

Forgot I have a few pics of the motor(short block) so I might as well tell you guys about that. I feel this thing has some great parts in it and has already proven at 850 hp. Its a 383 4 bolt(howard billet caps) motor, has a callies Dragon slayer crank(yeah I know racecar right lol) callies h beam rods, and diamond forged pistons(deep dish pizzas :)) I planned on going AI TFS topend with vic jr single plane... but now I got stock heads and using my old intake. Lmao. So this motor should be able to take whatever I throw at it. Here are some pics

Lol I know, I have been looking over your build for a while now, it gave me some motivation to get the ball rolling! What stall is yours.. they quoted me like a 3800 I thought it was high but when I think about it that right in the boost!

Just buy two 255's or 340's and run stock everything else.
Simple, easy, cheap(ish)

As much as that sounds good(and it would work right now) I eventually want to still change the top end and put a big turbo on it and go for my original hp goal. So I went budget on top end and a couple of other things but I am going to build the fuel system so I can throw anything at it. And I'm not skimping on ecu too. Its going to be on e85 also.

It won't be enough for 800hp on E85, you need a shit ton more fuel flow volume than compared to 93

More than 800. And I just don't trust 2 pumps. Then I have to worry about one going out. I'm going to be getting the mangafuel 4303 I think its called. With e85 you have to have 30% more fuel. So I'm getting the biggest injectors and pump I can almost buy.

I wouldn't buy the biggest injectors you can buy, get some sized right. Otherwise you'll have a tuning nightmare down low, depending on how fast they are.

I don't think they're even the biggest (yeah I'm being a smart ass here)

Yep :) I was wondering who would be the first to figure it out!! I'm pumped. Like I said I planed on making it to a t6 but screw it I need to make sure my suspension and body will take the power. Ill upgrade later.

Its going to have id2000s. Low imp and will idle on a stock car. But your right cheaper ones are a nightmare and have idle issues. So I guess go big or go home at that point. Iv had idle issues before that's NOT fun lol
