I used the Taylor custom fit LT1 kit. The opti spark boot ends fit on the LSX coils.

Make sure you do your research and get a good set that fit. The custom LT1 kit as mentioned above would be a good choice.
I made the mistake of just getting a standard set of LS1 wires (I think they were MSD's or maybe Taylors), and they did NOT fit.
If I wanted to use the MSD brand wires which ones would I buy?

MSDs are thick and a decent price, but they are a PITA to "click" on the spark plug.
I prefer Taylor's but Magnacore are awesome if you can afford them.

I am in the process of doing mine. Actually posting up on different forums about my on-going progress with this. I ordered mine from Taylor. $83.xx shipped. These are also the 409 race wire, 10.4mm. Alot is based on your headers. But instead of re-writing all this, here's a link.

Updated the thread on the Impala forum. But here's the pics I took tonite. I had to refit the wires to 6 inches between boots. In regards to tt383. The MSD kit is $137 and the wire measure anywhere from 15" to over 30" That's a lot of wasted wire. Oh, and they're only 8.5mm. I always loved using the 10.5mm on the old cars.

i got the ls boots than bought the wire i think i paid somthing in the 80 range i like to look around for deals. i know the ls boots are 30 for the set. than wire and the plug boots. and i heard from alot of people taylors wires suck. the boots rip out a lot. and i have 750 rwhp and still on the 8.5 wire. there is no need to go 10.5 unless ur running a mile of wire. the ohms is what matters. it like saying im running 1 gauge wire to run my starter power yes it will work but its over kill.

I have used Taylor for years on over 20 cars and never had a boot come off. The 8.5mm is plenty good for any modern ignition system. The big stuff is for magneto ignitions. But it looks good and for 80 bucks. Nothing wrong with a little over kill. "Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."
