Not 100% done yet but here's my progress.
The parts-
1777717778
Took the front bumper off
17779
Just holding the intercooler up to get an idea.
17780
Modified the bumper support and mocked up the intercooler.
17781
Ran out of time for now. Will be continuing this week and getting the intercooler permanently mounted then focusing on the battery relocation and piping.

Are you going to be cutting the bumper cover? I always wondered how some pusher fans would work under there, havent really researched it at all though

For now I'm going to just remove the fog lights, and use PVC angles on the inside of the bumper to direct air directly onto the core. At least that's one of my ideas.
My friend has a formula that he rolled, and it has a good front bumper on it. So eventually im going to use the formula bumper and cut it like Black Hawk did. Those tear drops end up being perfect vents for the intercooler when they're cut out of the formula bumpers. Google black hawk LT1 and you'll find his car.
BTW your car looks great with the grids on it! Never seen grids on an Fbody before.

This is all strangely familiar......

I will say watch your ground clearance if you mount the intercooler where you have it positioned. I was gonna do mine like your pic shows but after measuring, I found that the intercooler would be the lowest point at the front of the car.......not a good thought. Just measure to make sure it's gonna be higher than the radiator support. Don't want to clip anything with the IC.

Honestly the intercooler hanging low doesn't scare me. I daily drive a slammed Jetta with an oil pan way lower then my IC.
Nice setup btw!
